It was my first time to encounter a wedding, with the mother of the groom, Ma'am Tere Velasco, as the wedding coordinator. Ma'am Tere, a very organized and hands on planner, is the mother of Eric, the groom, and through her, I met Nikki, the bride. 

Taking the challenging role as the wedding coordinator and client, what I love about working with Ma'am Tere is she gave me the freedom to interpret, create and design the church's wedding aisle, following the theme "Classic Elegance" . During our meetings and coordination, I was already envisioning crystal beads, white flowers, twigs and elegant glass lanterns along with the wedding theme colors of dainty pink and elegant gold.

And it's also easy to work with the charming bride, Nikki.  I love how she tells me the exact details for the flowers that she wants for her wedding. We were initially going for the peonies for her bridal bouquet but unfortunately, it was not in season for the scheduled time of the wedding.  We went for the second best option, pink tulips,  for her bridal bouquet.  I love it when brides have specific ideas of their own and allows me to suggest and incorporate alternatives for her bridal bouquet.
